BACK VOWELS

Back vowels are not made in your back any more than chest voice is made in your chest. Back vowels are made by your tongue being toward the back of your mouth. These can be manipulated to your advantage. This is accomplished quite differently from the change done with front vowels. Back vowels sung incorrectly can sound quite spread or "splatty". I can help your vowels work with you, instead of their being an impediment.

YOUR BOOTS LOOK FUNNY, FATHER THOUGHT. The letters in red are "back" vowels.  How you form these can make the difference between sounding professional or sounding amateurish.
